Leading the India-A team in the series opener of the shadow series, Bharat helped the hosts put up a monumental fourt innings effort. Chasing a total of 490, the Indian side looked set to taste defeat, but Bharat put them on the verge of victory before the game ended in a draw.

Bharat made an unbeaten knock of 116 in 165 balls while putting up an undefeated partnershp of 207 runs alongside Manav Suthar for the sixth wicket. Suthar played a brilliant knock of 96 and also not dismissed in the fourth innings.

It was Bharat's celebration that caught the eyes of cricket fans as he celebrated by paying tribute to Lord Rama. Bharat pulled off a special 'Bow and Arrow' gesture and the video clip of his celebration went viral all over social media.
